I loved Tru Calling with eliza dushku, but reception for it was mixed. What do others think?

Though part of what made me not like it was knowing that eliza turned down a faith spinoff just to appear in this show.

I watched the first season - it had some decent episodes here and there, but not much that I could see myself coming back to. In the show's defence, it did start to get interesting towards the end when they introduced Jason Priestly's character, and I do think that if the show hadn't been cancelled, S2's arc could have been really good.

she was the main character in it. I don't think she can be blamed for wanting to try something new.
I really liked it right from the start I thought it was a new slant on who dunnits
