The ending creeped me out. Willow was talking about how she doesn't mind looking after her now mentally disabled lover, and buffy says 'I know how you feel' and looks at dawn, who smiles and seems oblivious to whats just been said. That whole scene was just weird. I never really realised this lol, didnt pay that much attention to the season 6 episodes

Reposted from the review thread:
A lot of that episode felt very awkward and forced, as did the others by that week's writer (Rebecca Rand Kirschner, also responsible for Out of My Mind, Listening To Fear, Help, Hell's Bells and Touched). Tabula Rasa is the only half-decent thing on her resume, I remember at one point cringing whenever I saw her name under 'written by' in the credits.

I'm glad glory ripped the wall out in that scene, because that was such a depressingly dark, dank room. Does tara even have a light bulb in that room? It seemed to be lit by candles every time we saw it.

Hah, maybe Tara went through a goth phase prior to settling in to the Earth Mother vibe. Would have been interesting (and a bit scary) to see her in black lipstick and a spiked collar!

To quote xander, did anyone else just go to a scary visual place just now?

I honestly don't think thats what Buffy meant. I think she meant that she'd always look after Dawn, even if she's always in danger becuase of being the key.
Also, I really liked this episode.
