What do you guys think would have happened if Joyce were alive through the gift. How would she handle Dawn geting taken by Glory?
Would she become concerned after wat happened to Spike and Tara?
What do you think?

I think there would be a scene where joyce says to buffy 'get my daughter home safe, I'm counting on you', or something like that, and then joyce would just stay at home, and nothing else in the gift would be different to what we saw. I can't see joyce taking it upon herself to fight glory like willow did in tough love, joyce knows she has no powers and wouldn't be able to do any good, she would just trust buffy to rescue dawn.
Maybe the gang would have asked joyce to babysit crazy tara, but the gang would still have realised tara can lead them to glory, so they would drop by the house to pick her up, and thats when joyce can have that scene with buffy.

Maybe she would have jupm though the portal so Buffy and Dawn could live......wow, that sounds werid.

Hah yeah at least that would have made some sense geneticaly, I could have believed that dawn's blood was joyce's blood too and would have closed the portal.

Well you gotta do *something* huge for the 100th, end of season, end of being on that channel episode. Whats huger than killing buffy off?

^ Killing Buffy off in a manner that makes sense. The whole Dawn's blood is Buffy's blood thing hurts not only that episode but the entire season.

I guess so. But glory would still have gone after dawn instead of superpowered buffy.
