Was Sarah Michelle Gellar robbed of an emmy nomination while she played this very interesting character?
I would say yes. She definitely was her show and did a very good job of carrying it. I really cannot imagine anyone else playing Buffy the way she did.

She was pretty good at playing her character. I don't really keep up with Emmy's, so I didn't know if she was nominated for one. But yeah she was probbly robbed of an emmy.

i loved the grudge.
and as far as SMG being robbed and emmy...everyone who watche Buffy knows that true. Look at her in episode such as the body, the gift, passion and so one. She showed that she is good enought for a emmy!

i think the only emmy nomination this show ever received was for "hush". the voters tend to stay away from shows like "buffy" no matter how good they are.

I was amazed that Buffy the Vampire Slayer didn't get more nominations. And it wasn't just Buffy (SMG) that should have gotten an Emmy. Willow (Alyson Hannigan) was a fantastic actress in the show. I thought for sure she would get something for her performance. And you know what's really funny, Alyssa Milano got nominated for the best TV actress for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. I was happy for her but sort of upset because Buffy was sort of like Charmed but better to alot of people. I just don't get it. What does Charmed have that Buffy didn't?

I thought the show deserved more nominations than just for Hush. Everyone on the show did a great job.

Plus, Charmed was partly the product of Aaron Spelling - and he has mucho power and influence in TV Hollywood.
