For some reason I seemed to remember giles being fired right at the end of the episode, and the gang found out about it in a later ep. :-\

He's fired in the penultimate scene, and then the final one is Buffy et al in the kitchen - which is where the Willow pic comes from. It ends with Xander offering to open a jar for the still-weakened Buffy and being unable to do it. |
