What if...
Buffy's friends had never found out that she was the slayer?

I think she might have done far less slaying and more just hanging out with her friends.
When buffy first went to school she wanted a normal life, and objected to giles wanting her to be a slayer, it wasn't until her friends found out and decided to help her that she really embraced her slayer side. If they never found out then she probably would still have slayed if there was an apocalypse or something, but not done so much day-to-day slaying, especially if willow's not there to give her help with computers.
I'm sure her friends would have evenutally found out though, I mean look at graduation day, everyone in school found out about demons and vampires.

lol yeh but even when everyone saw demons and stuff they seemed to choose to ignore it for the most part. I don't think that she would have lived as long if her friends didn't know. She was a strong Slayer but that was strongly helped by the strength of her friends and family. And like you say Cyclica her friends would have found out quite early on anyway because she wouldn't be around for quite a lot of time and they would have noticed her hanging about with Giles for a long time and they would have got suspicious.

What if.... buffy had never arrived in sunnydale in the first place?
Giles and angel both went to sunnydale just because she was there, and jenny was following angel, so none of those people would be there either. So it would have been just willow, oz, xander and cordy (and maybe jesse). Do you think they would have lasted long without the slayer?

Buffy never coming to sunnydale was exploited in the wish. She was meant to be there, so the question would be if she was never meant to be there...

Yes but the wish didn't really make sense. Angel and giles shouldn't have been there.

Thats why I said that if she was never meant to be there. That would've made Giles and Angel go where she was meant to go, thus eliminating any defense the city had against the master. Cordie just wished she never came to Sunnydale, nothing more. This left a gap in the city's defenses allowing hell to come to town.

What if... the buffybot was never destroyed by demon bikers?
Would she have stayed around after buffy came back and been a permanent part of the team?

Yes, and Buffy die at the end of season one. If Xander didn't know she was the slayer, and where Angel was and all of that, Buffy would have stayed die, and the Master would have...well... What if... the buffybot was never destroyed by demon bikers? Would she have stayed around after buffy came back and been a permanent part of the team? Maybe, but Buffy, real Buffy, might have gotten sick and tried of the Buffybot and have destroyed it herself(now that would be funny to see).

If Buffy's friends hadn't found out that she was the Slayer, I think there is mainly a dark side to the "what if" for this.
For the dark side, Buffy's life would've been more difficult, having to hide it from them. And, her friends would've been more vulnerable, without knowing how to protect themselves and not knowing about them anyways. And I think Buffy would have been more lonely and withdrawn without friends to confide in about her Slayer side. Another bad thing would've been that Buffy would've died a long time ago, without Xander to bring her back to life after The Master, without them to save her in season six, without them having helped her during her fight with Glory.

If the master had killed buffy and got loose in the town... would he have been stopped by the initiative? Were they 'stationed' in town at this point? I doubt they first came to town inbetween seasons 3 and 4.

What if... buffy got her powers, but never found out about vampires and the supernatural?
Would she still have used her powers to help people, like stop muggers? Would she have become a 'superhero', with a costume?

Would she have become a 'superhero', with a costume? Superhero with a costume. That were be priceless. But seriously, I think she would have either ignored her power or helped people once in a while, like your example of stopping muggers.
