What are everyone's views on this episode - do you think it was great? Do you think it could have been better? Some people thought it was wrong to put that vampire in at the end, ruining the realism of the episode...but i thought it was a great idea. After all the emotion you needed to have at least a little action, and it was at just the right time. It wouldn't have worked if it was right in the middle of the episode.

I thought this was one of the best episodes of the series. Very well acted by Sarah Michelle Gellar. She protrayed the sudden loss of a parent very well.
I think the vampire kept the show what it was. She still had a job to do, no matter what happens in her life.
We did not see Spike this entire episode.

i thought it was played out great! it made us realise tht these characters are human and natural disasters are real. It showed us how they cope with things. It showed the reall sides to thing, but they didnt want us to forget thisis a fantasy show. It showed tht Buffy maybe a slayer, but she cannot alwz be strong....I love this eppisode! 2 THUMBS UP!!!

It was a good episode, my only criticism is that it was an obvious stray from the well-beaten path of Joss eps. His other teary eps are all recognizable, this one seemed to be penned from a different hand, maybe that was the point and if that's the case, kudos!
