For all you Joss Whedon fans...

The series "Firefly" has been made into a movie. It opens in the US on September 30, 2005. (Not sure internationally) There are several familiar faces from Buffy/Angel on this series. From Buffy, the guy who played "Caleb" is the leader of the ship. From Angel, the lady who was "Jasmie" and the guy who played "Hamilton" are both on the series as well. Should be really good, so try to check it out, if you are able.

I saw that film advertised and i thought it looked good - i also heard it was a Joss Whedon film but i never realised it was based on "Firefly" and i also never knew it had ppl outa Buffy and Angel in it!! Thanx Jennf for lettin us no this!!
Also, its in the cinemas from the 7th of October 2005 here in the UK!!

Just saw the movie....and let me say "WOW."

The movie is funny, action packed and had a great story. (Something Hollywood isn't really known for these days!) The trailer gives you a good idea of the plot. It is NOT necessary to have seen the show to watch the movie. Very good and I highly recommend it!

I saw serenity too, I got it on dvd to add next to my buffy season 5, and all the season's of angel next to, and let me say, Joss is pretty good. I was upset with who he killed off though. But I think there's gonna be a sequel because technically it didn't end.

This movie was amazing,i was annoyed with who he killed off aswell,and it was so sudden. I've heard that there's gonna be a sequel cos there's so much more to explain as this one was based on river.

I thought I heard Joss say he was done with this now. No more because it costs too much to produce and the studio wasn't willing to go at it again.
