Summary: Inside Buffy's head.
AN: It saddens me the way Buffy fans are dwindling away. It just goes to show how long the show really has been off air.

Everything has changed between use. The stares are no longer death stares. When i think of her i don't get this bad feeling instead i get butterfly. When she used to smile i used to hate her for being so free and open, and now i melt whenever she smiles in my direction. Everything about her used to make me cringe and now i can't imagine my life without her.
How did I get here
I turned around
And there you were
I didn't think twice or rationalize
Cuz somehow I knew
We're all at the Bronze celebrating that engagement of Giles and Olivia. I'm standing alone, like usually, just watching her. Watching as she laughs at something Xander said. They way her head falls back, exposing her throat, her hair falling around wildly...completely characteristic of who she is. Wild, unattainable...or so i thought.
That there was more than just chemistry
I mean I knew you were kind of into me
But I figured it's too good to be true
"Anything else Ms?" I hear the bartender ask me. Glancing away from Faith i look at him. I nod and he fills my glass. "I wouldn't get your hopes up, from what i hear she's taken." He whispers to me. Talking about Faith.
Oh i know she's taken. She's mine. Faith and I have been together and little over a year now and the more i'm with her the more i hate myself for taking so long to realize what was right in front of me the whole time. All the yearsI wasted on Angel, Riley, Scott, Spike...all the different guys. Looking for Mr Right when all along i should have been looking for Ms. Right.
I said pinch me where's the catch this time
Can't find a single cloud in the sky
Help me before I get used to this girl
I never expect Faith to be the one to stick around. I mean i know she wanted acceptance from me, i know she wanted to prove to me that she wasn't evil anymore. But she did all that when she help be, us, defeat the first. Yet then she had a chance to go to England with Giles, but she didn't, she stayed her. Her exact words were that she had some unfinished business to attend to. I didn't question her, and i'm glad.
Because now i wouldn't know what i would do without her here with me.
They say that good things take time
But really great things happen in the blink of an eye
Thought the chances to meet somebody like you were a million to one
I can't believe it
You're one in a million
One minute Faith was nothing more than someone i hated, someone that hurt me so bad i didn't know if i would ever be able to trust them again. And then the next thing i knew she was the person that i couldn't help falling in love with.
"Thank you," i tell the bartender as i finish my drink and pay for it. He smiles at me as i walk away, away from me and towards her. She looks over at me and a smile appears on her face. I wrap my arms around her next and lean in and kiss her softly.
"What was that for babe?" She asks as i feel her strong arms engulf me in a hug. Slayer strength, i never knew the benefits of it until now. I've never had anyone to match my power.
"Just cause," i say with a smile. Leaning my forehead against her's i smile. She's perfect. "I love you."
All this time I was looking for love
Trying to make things work
They weren't good enough
Til I thought I'm through
Said I'm done
Then stumbled into the arms on the one
"I love you too B," she says loud enough for everyone to hear.
