Warning From ProBoards

So you may have noticed the board has been down for a while, well last week ProBoards sent me a warning via PM but as I had not logged in they removed access to the forum. I sorted this out via the ProBoards forum today.

The PM said the following:

ProBoards does not permit the posting of adult material. Your forum appears to be in violation of this policy. Please remove all offending content from your forum within 48 hours.

Examples of offending content includes but may not be limited to:

buffytvsliveson.proboards.com/ind....play&thread=620

The thread was from the roleplay section, the "Xander's Apartment" one which did feature some subtle and some not-so-subtle "adult material" - I have now deleted this thread.

So please, as I'm sure none of you want this to happen again, if you see any threads which you think breach this ProBoards ToS, send me a link to it via PM or just comment with it here and I will remove it ASAP.

First- Woo! Thanks for sorting the problem out and bringing the board back. For a while there I thought buffy lives on was gone for good.

Second- That 'xanders apartment' post was made years ago. Why is proboards suddenly taking offence now?

I was quite panicked for a moment too, luckily the guys over at the Support forum were very helpful and reacted quickly.

And that's exactly what I was thinking, the only thing I can think of is that a guest has visited the forum and saw that content then reported it? I don't know, I'm just going to keep an eye out for any more since I really don't want this board to be taken down again.

I know, I really don't know what takes up so much of my time that I don't get to visit this place. But I would never leave here for good! Ever!

I'm actually really surprised by what happened - I wonder what would cause someone to get so butthurt they'd report a board over a thread left untouched for a couple of years? Based on this precedent, I hope we won't run into any problems for having chatted about 'adult content' like Willow/Tara, slash pairings or the show's actual depictions of sex.
