this is a stupdi fanfic and unrealstic in my openion but i wrote it for school and i wrote it in 10 mins using my vocab words...so.,...please bear with me
Buffy Summers ran into the library. "Giles, you there?" she called as she tried to locate her watcher. Giles jumped at her from behind a bookcase. Buffy knew what was happnening at once. She threw him down on the floor. She knelt before her watcher and grabbed his left arm and started to twist it.
"Enough!!!" he called to her.
The slayer let go. "Don't EVER...do that to me again" she said as she helped him up. Giles nodded. "How was your slaying?" he asked. "Did you find any vampires..?"
Buffy nodded. "Good news, I found them, bad news, as soon as I got to them, they absconded.
Before her watcher could say another word however, Joyce Summers, her mother came in. "Buffy, there you are" Turning to Giles she said. "Sorry Mr. Giles is it all right if I used the computer here, Buffy broke the computer at home and I need access to internet despretly"
Buffy looked away and made a face. Giles nodded. "Y-Y-Yes of course, take your time Mrs. Summers, Buffy come on lets talk in my office about your fines" He led Buffy inside his office which was filled with weapons.
"Is your work done?" The watcher asked.
Buffy looked away from him. "uh-sort of I just need the six page paper on anarchy for history class by tomororw"
"Buffy, what did I tell you, you should've finished everything before you went out slaying, higshcool is not arduous you need to take responsi...." The watcher couldn't conteanue anymore becasue something came flying out of nowhere and it hit him over the back of the head as a result, he fell to the floor.
"ouch...that hurts" Buffy commented as she picked up the encyclopedia off the floor. "All right Will, you can come out now"
Buffy's friend, Willow Rosenberg came out laughing. She smiled sadly. "You shouldn't expect a treat like that everyday girl, oh, I've got something to tell you" she said getting serious. "Xander's in jail for larceny" Buffy turned to her.
"What?" she asked.
"How did that happen?"
Willow put her face in her hands.
"He thought going into the girls' locker room was funny, he stole something of Cordy's, she found out and reported him to the police"
"Well at least Xander didin't incinerate it...oh wait, that's a witch's job" she said sarcastically. She looked at Willow and tried to say something comforting. "well, Will think of it this way, he's not being tried as an adult which means he'll come out soon...anyway, Amy's pydrokenises got out of control again, at least I think its her, Giles dosn't know yet, but, she, or whoever did that, burnt his jecket"
"Buffy, don't you think you were being a bit biased earlier, I mean weather your hanging out with Cordy or hanging out with us, everyone's your innocents and they're still people, what's wrong with you, you never used to judge people like that?" Willow asked.
Buffy shrugged. "Will, I'm a junior, I think I'm entitled to change personalities as I grow older" she said cooly.
"Yea but still" whispered Willow sadly. "its not you....and lately, after you got your new personality, there have been lots of murders lately..." Willow took out some newspapers from the last week. She layed them all in front of Buffy.
"There had been three murders and five turnings, if Giles finds this out he'll kill you" she mumbled. Buffy shook her head. "I don't care about him anymore, I don't care.." With that, she left the room.
Willow stood there and watched while Buffy left the library. She couldn't believe what had jsut happened. :Giles, wake up" she called to the librarian. She shook him hard enough for her to wake him.
"W-Willow, what happened, Buffy?" he asked not seeing her there.
"She went out" she said hastially gathering the newspaper clippings and putting them in her pocket, Giles, I'm worried about you and Buffy, my suggestion to you is that you reprieve her of her slayer duties for a few days, now Giles I know what you're going to say but maybe this will change your mind" Willow handed the clippings to him. She looked at him while she kept a safe distance from him.
Than, Willow saw what was happening. The watcher's eyes changed to gold and he began to reach for his wand. Willow gasped and ran out of the room. She saw Joyce still working and knew it wasn't safe. She dragged the older woman by her wrist. "COME ON MRS. SUMMERS RUN" Joyce stared at Willow as she was being dragged out of the library. "Willow, whats going on, where's Buffy...Willow?"
But Willow wasn't listening. She knew she had to warn Buffy before it was too late before the slayer had to fight her watcher, she had to stop that from happening at all cost. She finally found Buffy dancing in the Bronze.
"Buffy, this is not the time to dance, this is not an auspicious situation...Giles turned into Ripper...you gatta come, come on!!!"
But the Slayer was deaf to Willow's please as she danced her heart out. She had not had fun like this in a long time. She was alone and she liked it that way, in her mind, there was no one else in the world, nothing else mattered to her but herself.
"Buffy!! you have to try and rectify your mistake..people can die, your mother might end up getting killed, you know Giles, you've seen him as his higshchool self, he will not hesitate to kill" Willow said her voice getting exsasparated.
"Giles can't harm me, he's a watcher...Watchers don't harm people they'll get killed by the council" Buffy said very calmly. Willow put her face in her hands. She turned to Joyce. "Mrs. Summers...come on...go...to the bathroom or do something I don't want you to stay here"
Willow didnt need to tell her twice. Joyce rushed to the back of the Bronze. Willow used her magick at this point becasue she was out of options. "Buffy..." she said using her mind to communicate with her. "Giles Will kill someone, he found out about you neglecting your duties...and letting all those people die, if he finds out Angel is the casue of this, you know what he'll do, he probablly will try to go after Angel again and this time he will suceed, he's not over Ms. Calendar yet so please Buffy think rationally"
Buffy snapped out of it. "Where is Giles?" the slayer asked. She was in full battle mode now. "You aren't gonna kill him are you...or harm him Buffy...he's your friend..." But Buffy grabbed Willow by her collar.
"Where is Giles...I swear to you Willow anyone gets in the way of me saving Angel, they're dead..." Willow choked. "He's-Whee you left him-the library" Buffy threw Willow down on the floor and ran to the library.
Buffy found her vampire boyfriend tied up in the library. "Angel!" she yelled as she ran to him. He was tied with snakes and ropes of course. Angel turned his head to her. "Buffy no, its Giles' trap.." But Buffy wasn't listening. Buffy used her pocket knife to disentangle Angel and free him from what bound him.
Buffy found her watcher. They started to fight automatically. It was difficult. Buffy was trying to defend Angel and herself against someoen who she had thought that she would've never had to harm. But Buffy was intrepid against her Watcher she wasn't going to allow him to have the upper hand of the battle. She ran and put a stake through his back.
Giles screamd in pain. He couldn't get the stake out but now he was enraged mroe than ever. Buffy hoodwinked her watvher into thinking that she was going to stay in front of him but at the last minute, she jumped over him and kicked him from the back.
"Buffy, Angel deserves to die...he harmed Jenny...he's caused everyone pain, I understand that you're his girlfriend and that you love him but you've got to let him go, he's the reason why Jenny is dead"
"oh DON'T go there Giles" Buffy said as she threw a chair to his direction.
"It was Yonna's own fault that she was dead, she was the one with the secret not Angel...so don't blame him...you have no right" She punched him.
Buffy reviled Giles while Giles did the same to Angel. Buffy had no sense of love and care for her watcher anymore, Giles had pusehd her over the limit. Angel very much wanted to stop Buffy for he knew how this was going work out. He didn't need to be a watcher to know that Buffy had been fated to die during this battle. But he couldn't help it. If Willow had bent all the rules to bring Buffy back and change the prophosices before, he knew that with a bit of luck he might be able to stop her before the slayer and Watcher killed each other.
He waited until Buffy was about to attack Giles again since her weapon of choice again, was a stake, he kenw that it was going to work out perfectly. He saw it as Buffy raised it above her Watcher's chest. "BUFFY NO" Angel yelled as he threw himself in front of Giles. Buffy stared in horror as she plunged the stake into Angel's heart and he dropped to the floor. For some reason, he didn't become dust.
Buffy fell to the ground and stared at his inanimate body. Buffy started to cry over the body of her boyfriend. Giles at last came back to normal. But the stake had taken too much out of him not to metnion all the kicks and punches he had endured from Buffy. He was very weak and he was dying too and Buffy knew that. She ran over to him.
"B-Buffy" he stammered as he took his hand in hers.
Buffy looked at Angel's body and than her Watcher's. "Don't die Giles please I've already lost Angel, I can't lose you too I'll kill myself" she started to sob but it was already too late.
Giles turned and stroked Buffy's hair with his bloody hand. "B-Buffy I'm sorry...and remember I always loved you...and I will conteanue to love you even in death" With those final words, he closed his eyes and died in Buffy's arms.
Buffy screamed. Willow came in. She had Xander with him. The two stared at the bodies of Angel and Giles. They saw Buffy still holding him. Buffy let Giles fall to the ground. She pushed everyone out of her way. She ran to the end of the town where the first battle between herself and Ripper had taken place. She saw the precipice and what was underneath, which wasn't much but endless rocks and air. Buffy, before anyone could stop her, jumped off it.
About two hours later, after burying Giles, Angel and of course Buffy, Willow and Xander realized with daunt that they were going to have to somehow break the news to Joyce that her daughter was dead. "We'll do it together" the two best friends said as they walked upto Buffy's house. Willow knocked on the door softly.
Joyce opened the door. "Buffy come on in where have you, oh, hi Willow, where's Buffy, with Mr. Giles?" Xander proceeded to hold Joyce by her shoulders. "Mrs. Summers I'm sorry, your daughter died two horus ago after Angel died protecting Mr. Giles, who died trying to save Buffy till the end" Xander and Willow knew that was not how things had turned out but they couldn't tell her that Buffy had gotten in a fight with Giles because they didn't want Joyce going crazy. The two knew how Joyce had trusted Giles.
Joyce obviously wasn't taking this well.
About a week later, Xander, Willow, and Joyce held a small funeral for Buffy, Giles and Angel.
"I appreciate you guys really looking out for her all these years, I'm glad that my daughter knew you, it was her ability to be pliant that got her killed, she allowed so little things to get in her way, she didn't know how to let things go" Joyce said as she was crying on Willow's shoulders. Willow tried to comfort her as best she could.
"but she wasn't a pompous person like Cordy, none of them were, they saved our lives mroe than once, and we were trully lucky to ever have them as friends" Willow said as she hugged Joyce gently. Joyce wiped the tears off her eyes and took Willow and Xander's hands. "Come on I bet you're hungry...we can can go over to my house...and talk...my daughter may be gone but her memories would still remail within our hearts...always"
