Out of all the proposed buffy spin-offs, what one would you most like to see happen, and why?

Probably the animated, It would allow the writers to take the characters back to high school and actually have fun with them. Spike is way too overplayed to be of any interest to me (although seeing more of Illyria on her own would be cool), and as much as I like Faith, we don't need another 'fighting for redemption while recovering from a dark past' show after Angel. Like Giles, but not sure how much they'd be able to do with him in his own series. Seeing more about his past would be cool, though.

I would like to see the the Spike and Ilyra movie cause I really like both of their characters. I wouldn't really like to see FAith cause yeah her character was cool but not really intrested. And Giles show, no thank-you.And I don't reaslly see a pont to animated series but thats just me.

I agree about the animated series, its supposed to be about the gang back in high school - its been done. I want something new.
I dunno what they could possibly do with a giles spin off. The spike illyria movie sounds great, but I'd most wanna see the faith show. Faith was more interesting than spike or giles.

Hmmm...well Giles' past would be cool to look at and if it was Giles recruiting more slayers that could be fun. The animated series sounds like a little too much. The Faith series really depends on the cast, you would have to keep some of our old friends for me to really be interested. The Spike movie could be cool, but they would have to com up with something really great for me to watch it.

I chose ripper the GILES show. How could that not be an awesome show. Though I think it would have to have like Giles and Spike somehow, cause they are always funny together. |

You may be interested to know, if there was going to be a giles spinoff, if would have also starred andrew, and a new character who was giles' nephew.

Update- the giles spin off might be going ahead after all!
From wikipedia:
"At Comic Con 2007, Joss Whedon confirmed that talks were almost completed for a 90 minute Ripper special on BBC, with both Head and the BBC completely on board."

Hmm, the Ripper spin-off mihgt be interesting, but I'm still all for Faith the Vampire Slayer.  There's just so much of her we don't know about. It really wouldn't be just like Angel's redemption, since she's an actual human and can get punished for the things she's done in a legal way..it would add more to it. It doesn't even have to be a spin-off, just a TV movie would make me happy. |
