has anyone read the buffy comic books? i had heard that joss continued the story where season 7 left off in his comics.

i love them! I have a Past Lives! they are really good. they even have pictures of how the cast look.They are awsome.They have Dark horse comics too

I read today that joss is continuing s8 in comic form, with 22 or so comics that are like episodes, and he's already planned out the ending... and its gonna be cannon.
I don't like the idea of continuing the story in this way, but I'll probably buy the first comic anyway just to see what its like, and if its any good I'll keep reading. That's assuming the comics are available in england, I dunno if they will be.

Yeah, I am not too sure about the comics...they sound a bit fishy...I wish they just kept the show going (only you know, less crappy)

Season 8 long way home is amazing. I read the first issue and i was like woooooow this is mega. The art is fantastic.

I got the 3rd issue today, which wasn't on shelves the last couple times I went to buy it so apparently its selling like band candy.

Just to make everyone aware, the comics are being turned into 'motion comics' on youtube. Here's a link to one I found- www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsUrzr4ytf0I'm not a fan of the comics so I won't be watching the videos, but I am surprised at how well they managed to turn the comic into a video. Though it's nowhere near as good as the show, not by a long way. And the voice actors are clearly not the original cast. They didn't even try to get people with similar voices, certainly in the case of buffy. |
