Who do you want to see on ripper?

Ok since ripper is probably going to go ahead, its likely that giles won't be the only character on the show. When angel got his own show he took cordy and wesley with him, and there were loads of crossovers.

So what buffy character would you like to see on Ripper, as a main sidekick? I'm not putting buffy or angel on the list because they were the stars of their own shows, there's no way they'll be a sidekick to giles.

Certainly not Spike (used to be good, but was ripped apart in S6/S7), Andrew or Dawn (never good to start with). Faith would be the best option for a regular appearance (she's sexy, has many stories that could be told, and would provide the ass-kicking quotient), but minor cameos from Willow or Xander could be ok too.

As much as I'd like to see faith again, I don't think she would work as a giles sidekick.

I think either dawn or andrew needs to be brought back (sorry partcynic!), their stories weren't as complete as say willow or xander, plus they were both heading down the watcher path when we last saw them. Dawn really wanted to be taken seriously as a researcher in s7, and andy at least looked the part in damage.
