In Buffy vs. Dracula, Dracula admires Buffy's neck where he sees a bite mark. The dialouge goes like so..
DRACULA: You have been tasted. BUFFY: He was- DRACULA: Unworthy. He let you go. But the embrace ... his bite ... you remember. BUFFY: No.
Who was he refering to? Was he talking about when she was biten by the Master? Or when she cured Angel?

I'd guess it was a reference to Angel; I'm pretty sure Buffy's neck scar got mentioned in The Harsh Light of Day too, and the indication was that it was a result of her curing him.

She gets hurt every single episode, but this is the only scar she has? Thats a little hard to beleive.

It's a wonderful thing called a 'plot contrivance'.

lol that may be true, but i feel the same way. It's the only scar buffy has which is strange because of all the brutal fights she's been in. But maybe it's significant because it's from Angel. Maybe the bite is actually from both Angel and The Master. Angel could have bitten her in the exact same place The Master did. It's possible, but from all the episodes before Buffy vs. Dracula, i don't remember seeing a scar.

I always thought that they were refering to Angel when they were talking about her scar. Then later on I kinda wondered the same thing about who they were talking about. I never did notice that is the only scar that Buffy has, until now.

Come to think of it, have we ever seen any vampires on the show with neck scars? Surely if they were all humans that had been bitten, they should all have scars?

Well the older vamps like Angel, Spike, Darla, Drusilla, they all would have healed. If I remember correctly though, Spike's mother had the scars on her neck after he turned her.

Hmm good point about healing. I knew vampires healed quickly, but it didn't occur to me that humans who had injuries would be healed as soon as they turned into vamps.
