Hah, no!
There wasn't really much to her, she was just there to show how different buffy was to other slayers. Kendra spent her whole life training and fighting, they couldn't have made much of a show around that.

Bianca Lawson (the girl that plays Kendra) origanilly auditioned for Cordielia. I'm glad she wasn't picked I like her better as Kendra.
