Who are your favorite relationships within the scooby gang?
I would say my favorite would be Xander/Cordelia. Those two were an unlikely couple because of school 'statis'. Their relationship was fun to watch because of the arguing. They really seemed to belong to each other and I'm sad they aren't still together.

Giles/Jenny, especially early on when jenny was flirting and giles never knew how to react.

Gile/Jenny was cute but I always like Giles/Joyce. Band Candy is the reason I started to really like them and thought they'd be cute together. Especially since Giles is Buffy's father figure and Joyce being her mother.
I like Xander/Cordy but I just love Anya. I was really upset when Xander left her at the alter.

I agree about Giles/Jenny, they were wonderful together and had some great chemistry; Xander/Cordy and Xander/Anya was also great. I guess Willow got the best relationships, having not one but two people who absolutely adored her. Damn her.  |

I loved that scene in 'storyteller' when andy walks in on willow & kennedy making out, and all he noticed was the fine handywork xander did on the window behind them.

I thought that the idea of Angel and Cordy were as far fetched as the connor plot, which really didn't go anywhere either... Once they off'd Doyle, the show went away, then I was really sad when the guy who played Doyle actually died... man.... irony
but I digress from the topic...
I would've loved to have seen a little more promiscuity in the scoobs, they were all too noble...

Yeah I hated doyle dying, it was great though when they made a doyle story in s5, as a tribute to the late actor, even in the 100th ep he was on the video...
I never felt like the scoobs needed more sex, I mean it became like on big complicated love triangle. Though its a little odd that buffy, xander, willow, oz and dawn (and maybe tara) were all virgins when they first appeared.

Was Oz a virgin? I thought he said he'd slept with someone before Willow (in Amends). And well, the characters were 16 and underage in the US when the show started. If they were all going at it, they'd never have gotten the show on the air. |
