Has anyone heard about this? Marsters first appearance in the show was last night. He's supposed to be a big bad villain that Clark has to go up against. His disguise is a professor at the college Clark just started attending. If I heard right, James Marsters is supposed to be playing some kind of old nemesis of Supermans. I think he is something like Brainiac or somethin like that.

i totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there have been so many people saying he looks better now, but i dont agree. I always knew him with blonde hair and i will always love him for it!!!!  |

Yeah, in England, they have shown the first 3 eps so far, and james only appeared in the very last scene of the first ep. So far we don't know anything about him, except that he grew out of a blob that dripped out of the new spaceship that lex found.

Spoiler alert....
He's coming back! He's gonna be in 2 (or maybe 4) episodes of smallville, including episode 15, which may end up being the final episode (writers strike, you know). So its possible the show will end with a clark vs brainiac showdown.
