I hope 2009 has started well for everyone. For the new year, I've decided to add a few new things to this forum - one of these being "character months".So, we start the new year with the main heroine herself; Buffy Anne Summers. This thread will be dedicated to her so feel free to post any fan art, short stories/fan fics (which can also be posted in the Fan Fiction section), YouTube videos... anything to do with Buffy!  Ok... What is your favourite Buffy scene from the entire show?

This is a nice new spin on things. It's a shame to see this sitting here unresponded to, so I propose we use a Q&A format. We keep to the topic of Buffy Summers, and each poster answers the previous question before adding one of their own for the next person to answer.

There are so many to choose from! It would be a tie between the "I quit" scene in Prophecy Girl, the first Buffy/Angelus interaction in "Innocence" (the one in Angel's apartment), or her talk to Jonathon in the clocktower in "Earshot".

Sorry about not responding in these threads In response to clare's question, I was planning to make a list of my favourite buffy scenes, because I don't have just one favourite, but it seemed like a large undertaking and I put it off. But her speech from earshot would have to be one of my favourite scenes. In fact any time she makes a speech is good. As are her puns during a fight. In what season did you like the Buffy character the most (or if you dislike her, disliked her the least)? Hmm hard to say. I guess either seasons 2, 3 or 4. In season 1 she wasn't 'typical buffy', she wasn't as heroic as later on, at least not until prophacy girl. In s5 she was too hard on both dawn and riley, I found myself taking their sides over buffy's in an argument. Season 6 was the season of buffy being depressed, and boinking and mistreating a certain vampire. And season 7 featured general buffy not giving a crap about her troops, to the point that one potential commited suicide, and all buffy could say was that she was weak. ^ It would be a choice between either the Buffy/Angelus swordfight in Becoming, or any of the Buffy/Faith fights. The stunt department always went all-out for them, and they stand among the best action sequences the show's done.

Off the top of my head I'd say that scene from Anne, when that demon asks the kids who they are and they each answer 'nobody', but when he asks buffy she says "I'm buffy. The vampire slayer. And you are?" Then they get into a fight, and ken the demon's leader is amazed that a human would be fighting back. Although the rocket launcher scene was pretty cool too. ok ok, so i don't know if i'm supposed to answer ALL the questions but i'm going to anyway.

um my favorite buffy season would have to be (since i have to pick lol) season 3...i loved the Buffy/Faith interactions. Do you have a favourite buffy fight scene?my favorite fight scene with buffy would have to be in season 7 in showtime against the uber vamp. plus battle scars are sexy lol Of everything in the show, what do you think is Buffy's single coolest moment?out of everything one the show...hmmm....would have to be during becoming part 2 when she pulls the sword out in front of Snyder and walks away. lol. ^ Probably the scene from Get It Done, where chloe the potential can't take it anymore, living in a house with strangers, sleeping on the floor, being told that she could be killed at any time by bringers or any of the other supernatural threats she's only just heard about... so she hangs herself. Then after she's dead buffy makes a speech about how chloe was an idiot, and weak.
I mean I realise it was weak of chloe to resort to suicide, but buffy didn't shed a tear, didn't care in the least that an innocent girl had died because she couldn't take life under general buffy.
