Plot:
Buffy and Faith have always known that they were in love. After Faith moves away from Buffy to Canada, she buys an apartment that harbors a dark powers that is not to be messed with.
Chapter One
Buffy stood there, looking at Faith. "Are you sure about this?" she asked. Faith nodded.
"I need this. It'll help," Faith replied.
The feel of Buffy's arms locked around her made Faith doubt her decision. But, she had to do it, to clear her head. Moving to Los Angeles from Colorado would take a lot out of Faith. Buffy released Faith from the hug what she wished would never end. After one last look at Buffy, she climbed into her red convertible, started it, and drove away. On the way, a few tears slid down her face. She felt the need to cry, to go back, but she knew it wouldn't happen.
Chapter One
The Apartment
After Faith got off the plan, she ran into a brown-haired woman. Her name was Anne, and she had given Faith her phone number in case she couldn't find a house or apartment. After Anne's husband showed up, she hurried off to be with her family.
Faith exited the airport and looked around for a newspaper. After locating one, she looked for some apartment that were for sale, called a taxi, and was dropped off there. Standing before the apartment, Faith sucked in her breath and stepped in. The apartment had hardwood floors, purple wallpaper, a sitting area, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Everything was of good size, so Faith gave the seller a call and worked out a deal. She bought the apartment for $100. She thought it was strange to just pay one hundred bucks, but she wasn't going to say anything. It just so happens that it was an evil place---and the seller was in a hurry to leave it behind.

Buffy was sitting in her chair, staring out the window. She kept hoping that she'd come back--to be with her. Deep down, she knew it wouldn't happen but it didn't hurt to hope, did it? Her door burst open and Buffy jumped to her feet. "Buffy, I didn't mean to scare you," Willow said. "It's OK, Will." Buffy looked at her feet and Willow stared at her.
Buffy sat down once again and Willow sat down beside her. "You really miss her, don't you?" She asked. Buffy nodded. A tear escaped. Willow put her arms around her. "It's gonna be OK, Buffy, really," she assured her. Buffy burst into tears in Willow's arms. Willow crouched in front of her and hugged her. "Buffy, it's Jay." Buffy wrapped her arms around Willow and sobbed on her shoulder.

Faith got a job as a waitress at a local restaurant called "The Tipsy Spot." Their uniforms consisted of black short skirts, a red tank top that said THE TIPSY SPOT on the back, and skates. Faith first day on the job was today, and she worked 7 hours. She got 20 bucks every hour and worked every day--except Saturday and Sunday. Her day began at 7:00 AM and ended at 1:PM.
Faith just stepped in the restaurant at 7:12 and the place was packed. "Damn," she exclaimed after stepping behind the counter. "This place is packed!" A fellow waitress, Regina, came up beside her and agreed. "There's not one day this place isn't like this--unless it's a closed day!" Faith laughed just to make Regina leave.
"Lehane, I'm not paying you to sit there. Go get some orders, now!" Lindy screamed. Lindy was the bitch boss of The Tipsy Spot. Faith sighed and skated (turbulently) out to a table. "Hi, my name is Faith, what would you like to order?" She delivered a bright smile as she retrieved her pad and pen from her uniform pocket. After taking the orders, she skated back to the counter and lost her balance. She tumbled to the ground. Laughing, Regina pulled her to her feet.
"Not a skater, are you?" Regina asked. Faith shook her head, laughing. "Buck, order up!" She yelled as she slapped the order on the window sill of the chef.
Chapter Two
Buffy's Voice
When Faith got home after work, she discovered Buffy had called numerous times. Worried, Faith called back. Buffy answered on the first ring.
"Hey, Buffy. What's wrong?"
Buffy laughed. "Oh, nothings wrong. I just wanted to hear your voice."
"Oh."
"I'm gonna come down there soon," Buffy said.
"Really?" Happiness flooded Faith's heart.
"Yeah. I'll be there sometime next month. Gotta get some money, you know."
Faith nodded, forgetting that Buffy couldn't see her. "Yeah, yeah." A giant crash startled Faith and she dropped the phone to the ground. She could faintly hear Buffy's voice, worried, screaming her name.
Faith heard the crash again. Coming from the kitchen. She walked toward it stopped when she saw a dark figure hanging from the ceiling. Wind started to blow and screams echoed in Faith's ears. "What do you want," she screamed. The figure became lighter and lighter until it's body was revealed. A bloody man. With a knife sticking out his abdomen. His head was in a noose, hanging from the ceiling. Another figure appeared. The apartments seller. He walked toward the man and grabbed an object from the table. He plunged the knife into the man's chest.
Faith cried out in shock, looked away and back, and then they were gone. "What the hell?" Faith exclaimed. She turned and screamed. A woman was hanging on the wall. Nails were stuck in her hands and feet. She was screaming. Again, the seller came toward her and smashed the nails deeper with a hammer. "Shut up or I'll do this to your head!" He said.
Again, the woman and seller disappeared. Faith ran to the living room and screamed once more, this time falling to the floor. Dead bodies were lying everywhere. Murdered bodies. RE DRUM was written in blood on the wall. Faith closed her eyes and opened them, and everything was gone. She crawled to the door and opened it. Stepping out, a hand grabbed her ankle. She looked down and seen the woman peering up at her.
"Stop! What do you want!" Faith screamed. The woman muttered, softly, "He killed us. All of us. Get out, now!" Then she disappeared. Faith slid to the ground. He killed us. All of us. Get out, now! The words echoed in her head. What did it mean?
****
During Faith's terror, Buffy was screaming her name into the phone. She had heard screams. She had never heard Faith scream before. "Faith, please answer me!" Buffy shouted. "Buffy." Faith's voice erupted into the phone. "Buffy. Help." And the phone went dead. Buffy dropped the phone to the ground and hurried to her car. She got in and drove towards the airport.
Chapter Three
Meeting
Faith lie on the ground of her apartment. The lights flickered off, then on, and then shut off. Faith was in total darkness. She sat bolt upright, looked around, and her heart beat quickened when she heard a bang, and then the sound of something being dragged.
The lights flickered on and off, on and off, on and off like a strobe light. Faith saw the seller dragging a dead body to an open hole in the apartment floor. The body had blond hair. When the seller turned the body around, Faith gasped. It was Buffy. The body was dropped down the hole and the hole was closed. The seller then walked down the hall and dragged another body to another hole. It was Faith's body. "Damn!" Faith exclaimed. Her body was dumped down the hole and a hollow THUMP resounded.
The light flickered off again and she silently crawled to the door, straining in the darkness to see the form of the door. She grasped the handle and opened it. She spilled out on the floor.
The door slammed shut and she lie there, head pounding and heart in overdrive. Faith ran out of the apartment's front doors. The night air bit her face as she ran. When she reached the airport, she got disapproving glances from many people--and they got the finger.
She ran to the front desk and breathlessly asked for a ticket to Los Angeles. Next, she waited. Another airplane landed and Faith gasped to see Buffy running out of the gates. Faith jumped up and ran to her. "Buffy, what the hell are you doing here?" Buffy had a confused look on her face. "You asked for my help!"
"No, Buffy, I didn't." Faith said. Oh no, Faith thought. The ghost things...they told her I needed help. They want her, but why? Faith ran outside to a pay-phone and called the apartments seller. He didn't answer. "Faith?" Buffy said, running after her. Faith ran out of the airport and continued to run to the seller's home. When she reached it, it was dark and empty. She walked up the drive and reached the door. She kept knocking, but no one answered. She kicked the door in and hurried inside. She looked around, but couldn't find him. Flustered, Faith grasped Buffy's arm and pulled her to her apartment.
Chapter Four
The Seller
Faith opened the door to her apartment and stepped inside. She walked where the holes had been in her vision thing. There was nothing. Wait, she thought. She bent down and grasped a little hole in the wood. Tugging it, a trap door opened and the holes were uncovered. Faith stepped back. Two hands appeared at the end of the hole. Buffy pulled Faith back from the hole.
A head appeared. Then a woman dragged herself out of the hole. Her eyes, full of terror, stared at Faith and Buffy. "He...killed...us. The owner. Get out...because you're next."
Buffy gasped behind her and the woman disappeared. A crash came from outside the front door and Buffy and Faith stared at it. "Faith, what the hell is going on?"
"Listen, because I'm not saying this again. The person who sold me this place, he's a murderer. He killed thousands of people and he buried them here. He made these giant well things under the apartment and he put the bodies in there. The ghosts are warning us. Buffy, he's coming after us. And some of these ghosts, they're angry. They are after us too. We need to leave, now." Buffy nodded. As they ran to the door, the lights clicked off and on, then on. The seller was right in front of them. "Welcome home, girls," He said, and slammed the door shut.
Buffy and Faith looked at each other. He moved toward them. He punched Buffy and she flew sideways. Faith kicked him in the stomach and then in the face. He kicked her in the face and then punched her in the stomach. He kneed her in the face and grabbed her, then threw her behind him and she smashed into the door. He was in front of her in a flash. He head-butted her, then opened the door and threw her out.
Faith stood up and ran at the door, but he closed it. She tried to break it down, but it wouldn't budge. The handle wasn't working, either. She ran to the main doors and tried to open it, but an electric shock chorused through her body and she was blown back. She landed by the door. Buffy's screams sounded from inside the apartment and Faith started to freak out. She was hitting everything.
Another scream. A dead little girl appeared in front of Faith and she shouted, backed into the wall. The girl stared at her with red eyes. Her pink shirt was soaked in blood and her skirt ripped. A knife was sticking out from the side of her head. She opened her mouth and shrieked. Faith covered her ears as the girl grasped and pulled the knife from her head. She stepped towards Faith, and attempted to stab her. It grazed her arm. Gasping, Faith grasped the cut with her other hand. She began to back away towards the main doors. The girl followed. The girl disappeared, then a sharp pain erupted in Faith's back.
The knife was buried in her flesh. When the girl pulled it out, Faith turned and whacked her in the face. The girl screamed and hit the wall. Her face distorted in anger, she ran at Faith. Faith flipped over the girl and kicked her in the face. Hands grabbed Faith's torso and arms and held her in place. Another woman, the mother of the girl, walked towards Faith. She had been burned alive.
The woman stopped in front of her, then pulled a match out from behind her back. She lit it. Her hand stretched to Faith's body. The match dropped on her. Faith burned alive. She felt it, but it didn't really happen. The hands let go of her, and the figures disappeared after her whole body was engulfed. She gasped in relief after the pain stopped. She hurried to the door and kicked it in.
She screamed the most horrifying scream imaginable. Buffy was lying there, dead, on the ground. A pool of blood surrounding her. Faith rushed in and grasped Buffy's body in her arms. Buffy's eyes stared into her. Faith sobbed and sobbed. She kissed Buffy's lips and her cheek. "Welcome back, Faith." Faith jumped to her feet and turned around. The seller was there. With a bloody knife in his hand.
Chapter Five
Showdown
Faith ran at the man that killed Buffy. She jumped up and kicked him in the face. He flew back and slid across the floor. She cartwheeled to him and he kicked at her knees. She dodged his legs and pulled him up. She punched him in the face, then kneed his ribs. Faith punched the left side of his face, then kicked him down.
The man kicked Faith's leg out from under her and then she hit the ground. He crouched over her and banged her head into the floor. He grabbed a knife and stabbed her in the stomach with it. She screamed in pain and then pushed him off. She kicked the knife away and ran. She ran down the hall and into the bedroom. Frantically, she looked for a place to hide. She could hear him stomping down the hall. She hid in the closet and shut the door tightly. Just in case, she grasped the handle. He came into the room and started to tear stuff apart. He got to the door and punched a hole in it. Faith screamed and ducked to avoid his fist.
He tugged on the handle so hard that it broke off. Faith's hair was grasped through the large hole in the door and she was pulled through it. The man dragged her to her feet and kicked her in the stomach. He punched her in the face repeatedly and then round-housed her. She flew sideways and hit the wall. The man threw a knife at her. It just missed her chest. Faith ran out the door and down the hall, the man chasing after her.
She felt a pang when she passed Buffy's body, but she continued. Reaching the door, she tugged on it but it wouldn't open. Suddenly, she was lying outside the door. It was now light outside. She pushed open the door and kicked a hole in the wall after seeing Buffy's dead body once more. The apartment looked normal.
She walked to Buffy and knelt by her. "I'm so sorry Buffy. I didn't want you to die." Faith hugged Buffy close to her and cried until the moon came up.
The conclusion!

A month after Buffy had died, Faith still wasn't over it even a little bit. She moved back in with Will, Xander, Dawn, and Kennedy. She cried every second of every day. She wondered and regretted why she had never acted upon her love for Buffy. Why she never got to hold her in her arms and love her the way a couple should. It hurt her to know that she never would be able to. She couldn't see her, hug her, smell her, or fight side by side with her ever again. And she would never get the chance to kiss her, make love to her, or lie beside her.
She truly regretted her earlier decisions of ignoring her feelings for Buffy.

**Current Time**
Faith was lying restlessly in her bed. The tears never stopped. She had the solution. Faith wrote her suicide note. Walking silently out of the house, she ran to the Gorongola Bridge, located by the cemetery where Buffy was now resting. She climbed onto the edge and looked at the flying cars below.
Images of her and Buffy together flashed in her mind. Buffy's laugh and smiled lingered in her mind as she jumped off the bridge. She crashed into a car below, cracking the windshield. The car swerved and Faith fell to the ground. Dead. The last thing in her mind was Buffy. Before her heart failed, she felt Buffy's tight embrace once more and seen her smiling face.

Faith and Buffy embraced. They smiled, kissed and pulled away. They kissed again, and it seemed to last forever. They turned and smiled at the gang, grasped hands, and walked into the dark night, slowly fading. Willow smiled. They were together at last.
The gang left, mourning the loss of their two Slayers. In the shadows, Angel lurked. His heart hurt deeply, but he was glad Buffy finally found the one she loved more than anything---the title Angel once possessed. He walked away into the darkness after one last look at Buffy's grave. A tear escaped his eyes and rolled down his face.

The autopsy results showed nothing. Faith knew that it was a magical cause. Buffy's body was sent to the house in Los Angeles that Willow, Xander, and Dawn now resided in. Faith drove their, afraid inside to be reunited with them. The meeting was tense. After Faith recounted the events leading to Buffy's death, Dawn ran up the stairs in tears.

They day of Buffy's funeral matched the mood of everyone Faith. Rain, clouds, and thunder. Willow, Xander, Dawn, Kennedy, and Faith tried to comfort each other during the burial. Once Buffy was in the ground, totally buried, no one could contain their tears any longer. It seems to finalize the death of their fearless, beloved Slayer.
Faith walked away from the scene before anyone had budged. It started to rain even harder. Faith began to run. She didn't know where she was running, but she wanted to run.

Near the end of the day, Faith returned to Buffy's grave. She sat by it and cried. After a while, her vampire sense tingled. Faith turned to look at Angel. "Faith," he greeted. Faith turned back to Buffy's grave. Angel sat beside her on the ground. "Angel," she said, "Have you lost someone you loved more than anything?"
"Buffy. She's the one that I loved more than anything. But I've lost more than one person that I loved." Faith started to cry. "How do you get through it?" She said through her tears. Angel embraced her and they cried together.
Chapter Seven
Regret
Chapter Eight
Justice
A few months after Buffy's death, the police found and captured the murderer of Buffy. Faith testified, and the man was thrown into jail. She wanted to kill that man. But she never could.
Chapter Nine
A Year Later
A year after Buffy's tragic ending, Faith hadn't healed at all.
Epilogue
When Faith had killed herself, Buffy's spirit could feel it. She was happy--yet sad at the same time. After Faith's funeral, which Buffy's spirit witnessed along with her friends, Faith's spirit walked out of a bright white light. Willow, Xander, Kennedy, and Dawn could see their spirits.
