I do love Buffy Lives On and always will as it was the first I ever created and there's such great members who have stuck with it (you know who you are) but I am a member of SlayAlive which is probably the most active Buffy forum that I have seen and would like to just advertise it. So, if you want, you can take a look at it and join up if you would like - it's a very friendly forum. URL: slayalive.com/

I joined it a few years ago (my name there is 'pesk'). I haven't visited the site in a long time though. Last time I was there they seemed much more focused on the comics and merchandise and their own games then they were with discussing the actual show. I prefer this board.

Ah, they board has recently changed hosts so you'd have to sign up again. I know what you mean about them being focussed on the comics but I guess since they're still active then it's something new to discuss. There's currently a Buffy rewatch going on though which I did sign up to, but me being me, I am behind with it. I'm glad you prefer it here Cyclica!

Thanks. One thing I did like about that board is that they occasionally got buffy actors to pay a visit. I remember one time I made a post saying that vi was my favourite out of the potentials... and like the next day felicia day herself visited the board! Have there been any buffy actors visiting the board recently?

That's awesome! Not that I'm aware of. I know they have discussions with some of the people to do with the comics.. And they've posted about a contest being run by Amber Benson, now that would be cool if she visited!

I had a look - it seems like a cool place.
That said, I also prefer it here. I love that on this board, we can have in-depth chats about the show, and that the posters here understand that critiquing something doesn't mean you're not a ~real fan~. And even if you do say you hate something, it's understood in good faith and in context of your general perspective.
