If Buffy had done another season, what do you think could or should have happened - and why? It would have been interesting to see what the Slayer did without Sunnydale. Where would she have gone? How would she have continued to lead her Slayer Army? How does she battle demons? Does she go to another Hellmouth? So many questions...... Biggest One: WILL SHE AND ANGEL EVER TRULY HOOK UP? OR REMAIN STAR CROSSED?

Do you think that the Slayers could have all gone to Cleveland or do you think they could have went to different places to protect the people there? Giles always said that there were other Hellmouths. I would think that, as a general, you would place your army at those locations and battle from there.

Apparantly faith and andrew were both going to become regular character in s8, appearing in every episode.

Yeh, but does that mean that Slayers would still be born just like before and already have their powers, or would there be no more slayers? Well buffy died and kendra was called. Kendra died and faith was called. From then on only faith's death could have made a new slayer, as proven (sort of) in s6 when buffy died again and no new slayers were called. (buffy said many times in s7 that her death could have made a new slayer, but she was mistaken). And this was all well and good, until all the world's potentials were called. I would like to beleive that the slayer powers were spread between them (speed, strength, healing), but the ability to call a new slayer was still reserved for faith only. But then again...if faith dies, there are no potentials left to be called, since they are all slayers already. Perhaps the power to pass on the legacy goes to one of the existing slayers automatically...or perhaps giles and the new council will choose an outstanding new slayer to be next. After all, it was always the watchers council that was in charge of choosing new slayers.

I think they all went to different places. I mean 20 slayers in ONE place, when some don't have slayers at all.........that's what I found werid......there're all these vampire all over the world, yet there's only one slayer in one place? So, yeah I think they went to different places.

It could happen... We don't know what happened to spike after the end of angel. I like to beleive he survived the fight and then went to find buffy. After all, where else would he go? And hey, welcome to the board.

It would have been interesting to see how Buffy would work without Sunnydale. I can't believe that her mother's remains are buried into that giant hole, along with all her memories and many precious possessions. It also would have been entertaining to see Buffy and her friends fight and interact in a new country/state/city...To see what other relationships they would build and so on.
@angelica: Since they have made an eighth season in comic book form, I think they should've made an eighth season in TV form, with many of the same events from the Cbooks happening.

It would be cool if Joss did return the Buffyverse to TV form. Maybe a new spinoff featuring one of the regular players from the original show. I know SMG has a new CW TV show and AH has How I Met Your Mother, but maybe a spinoff featuring Dawn and Xander somewhere new in the world.

^ I don't think a dawn and xander spinoff would really have worked, they didn't have a lot of chemistry with each other and neither one of them has any powers or much in the way of demon knowledge. Although, if there was a dawn / xander spin off... I would have watched it.
