"Yep, I guess something about mouldy gravestones and decrepit mausoleums just appeals to the undead," Buffy agreed.
She paused for a moment.
"It's not that I'm not grateful for the tip-off, but what's the deal tonight? I mean, you coming with vamp info, being so keen on finding this one... Is now a slow time for vengeance or something?"

"Uh, sure. Slow time for vengance. Hardly anyone wants my services. I blame the media, its always protraying demons in a bad light. Some of us are valuable members of society."
I gotta stop buffy asking too many questions, she may find out why I'm really here. Need a diversion.
"Say, isn't that a vampire over there?" Anya said, pointing to a tree in the distance.

Buffy slowly approached the tree Anya had pointed to, finding nothing.
"Nope, no undead action here," she noted. "But wait..." she paused, spying two vamps moving among some distant graves, "we've got some over there."

The two vampires noticed buffy and started walking towards her, snarling.

Buffy wasted no time as the vampires came closer, whipping Mr Pointy out of her jacket pocket, ready to slay. As the first vamp rushed her, she used a tombstone to lift herself, flipping over and kicking it down and out. As she landed, the second vamp lunged, knocking her down before snarling hungrily at Dawn and Anya.

The vampire walked towards anya. It lunged forwards to grab her, but anya teleported away, and reappeared right behind it.
"Hey!" she called out, and as the vampire spun around to see her, anya plunged a stake through his chest before he had time to react.
She looked at the other vampire on the floor. "What do we do with this guy?"

"Or maybe we can use him to get some info on that new vamp." Buffy looked carefully at her fallen attacker. "He's out cold, but we should probably try and restrain him. Anyone got anything that might come in handy?"

"Restrain him? Come on, he's just one itty bitty vampire. I'm sure he's not gonna put up much of a fight, not after you kicked his ass. Let's just wake him up and ask some questions. What could possibly go wrong?"
Anya crouched down by the vampire and spoke softly to him. "Wakey wakey, time to get up mr blood thirsty vampire." She tapped him on his cheek a few times. The vampire didn't move.

"Hmmm, let me count the ways." Buffy nudged the unconscious vampire with her foot. "If you think about it, it's kind of interesting that vamps go down at all - I mean, I'm guessing they don't have much brain function, so kinda weird that a kick up there would knock 'em out."
