Dawn: a Buffy fan fic

[glow=red,2,300]Dawn:[/glow] Boring (Pauses for a second) well except for the while slimy demon attack in the chem lab today.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow]Uh oh, maybe we should tell Buffy about this?, you know it might be scoobie gang stuff?.
[glow=red,2,300]Dawn:[/glow] Yah.
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] Hey Wil and.....Dawn. What are you doing home so early, i thought the prison over the hell mouth, otherwize known as SunnyDale High didn't let the students out till 4?.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] They don't but, then sunny dale isn't exactly your ordinary school.
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] What happened?
[glow=red,2,300]Dawn:[/glow] A slimy demon attacked in 3rd period chemistry, and let's just say the rest is a little gory to go into detail for.
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] Oh great an actual demon, nice to know we don't have a shortage of those around here.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Xander be serious, i feel the same way but we should tell Buffy.
[glow=red,2,300]Dawn:[/glow] All in favor of going to the bronze say I.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] How'd you know Buffy was at the bronze?.
[glow=red,2,300]Dawn:[/glow] Well i went there, after they let us out of chemistry to check out the lead drummer of the group that was playing there, he's so yummy.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Okay, Dawn you stay here, and Xander and i will go fill Buffy in on what you told me.
[glow=red,2,300]Dawn: [/glow]Why do i always have to stay home when you guys go fight, demons?
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Because Buffy would say so, sorry. If you want i have a couple of magic books that you can practice with?

[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] I'm not a big fan of her doing magic. Again.
[glow=red,2,300]Dawn:[/glow] Relax Xander. Besides i've gotten a whole lot better than the time i accidentally turned you into a werewolf for a week.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Yah and she's only working on little spells since then, like floating pencils and stuff....
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] It's the and stuff i'm worried about Will.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Don't worry Xan, besides we have more important things to worry about right now, like the demon and Buffy.
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] Oh. Right. big slimy thing.

Dawn: Okay.

Buffy is swirling her stir stick in her drink, while the band on stage sings an upbeat song, and people around her are either talking or dancing. Buffy doesn't really notice though because she's so caught up in her thoughts about her boyfriend Brian that had broke up with her a couple of days ago. She missed the way he smelled, the way he smiled when he saw her, his warm green eyes, the way he kissed, and his laugh even when she told a dumb joke. When he found out during a demon attack what she could do, he said he couldn't handle it and hadn't talked to her since. She looked up across the crowd then back at her drink.

[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Hey why didn't you call me, i would have came with you here?
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] Yeah. But i guess i just wanted to be alone or something? you know, demon free for a day with no slayer duties.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Brian was a jerk, don't worry about him. He's a-a-a big dummy head.
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] Yeah. But i just can't help thinking that maybe he's right? and what it would have been like if i never had to tell him i was a slayer and i was like every other normal girl.
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] This is Sunnydale Buff i think your about as normal as we're gonna get around here.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Listen Buffy, we need to talk.
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] what? is Dawn okay?
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Yeah she's at home.
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] I told her not to skip anymore! she is in so much trouble when i see her.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Dawn's home because a slimy demon attacked in her 3rd period chemistry.
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] You and Xander go get Dawn and take her to Giles to see if you can find anything.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] What about you?
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] I'm going back to the high school to see if i can find anything. Maybe it's still in there, and when i find it, i am going to kill it.
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] I'm not so willing to go back to sunnydale high, but i'll go with you in case you need back up.
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] I won't.
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] Oh. Right. Now that Angel is in town i'm sure you'll get him to back you up.
[glow=red,2,300]Willow:[/glow] Come on Xander we'd better get to Giles before the demon attacks again.
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] Although if it's in human form maybe it's someone you haven't already dated?
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] Ha.Ha.Ha. That's so not funny. It was one time thing, and F.Y.I, i didn't know Anya was an ex Vengence demon.
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] Xander. Dawn.
[glow=red,2,300]Xander:[/glow] Right. See you, and be careful.
[glow=red,2,300]Buffy:[/glow] I will.

(Buffy and Dawn's house)

Dawn's in Willow's room looking through her crystals, spell ingredients, and books.

Dawn: Thinks i'm not getting better ey? well i'll show Xander, and Buffy how powerful i really am. Then maybe they won't leave me at home all the time?.
Meanwhile her friend Casey who she called comes over to do spells with her.
Casey: Your sure they aren't going to be back for awhile right?
Dawn: Of course.
Casey: Okay. (Picks up a book of willow's) This is so cool, how about we do some out of this?
Dawn: We can't!. I mean that it's a little complex shouldn't we be doing small spells still? I mean our last one turned Xander into a werewolf and Buffy had to keep him locked up for a week?
Casey: I know and it was so cool. Well maybe not for him? but it was still so cool.
Dawn: I know. And now he's all scared of me doing magic and stuff.
Casey: Seriously?
Dawn: Yeah.
Casey: Cool. Okay so are we going to do this or what?
Dawn: yeah.
They sit facing eachother with a white crystal in the center that Casey had brought and Dawn stashed it with Willow's stuff, holding hands.
Casey: Come fourth, and show us your power,
Dawn: Come fourth, and show us your worthyness,
Casey: Let us see you,
Dawn: But be not seen by others.
The wind stops and then Dawn and Casey looks at eachother and then beside them where they see a girl with brown hair, green eyes, in a white shirt and black pants.
Girl: How did i get here?Who are you?
Casey: Uh oh.
Dawn: Ya think.

(Gile's house in the kitchen/living room)

Xander: (holding an old leather book with a symbol on it). I got nothing still.
Giles: We have to keep looking, i'm sure it's in the books somewhere?
Xander: What exactly did Dawn say it looked like again Will?
Willow: She said it was a slmy demon, that's all she said though.
Giles: That doesn't really narrow it down.
Willow: Oh shoot. We forgot Dawn.
Xander: You keep looking with Giles and i'll go get Dawn.
Willow: Okay, but hurry.

[dustfairy]

(Buffy and Dawns house, in Dawn's room)

Girl: Why did you summon me?
Dawn: We didn't mean to.
Casey: Okay this is way to weird i'm out of here
Dawn: No we have to do something before someone get's home.
Casey: No. I can't get caught here. I-I didn't mean to do this.
Dawn: What do you mean you didn't mean to?, we did this together remember?
Casey: No. I-I didn't mean to do this, it was just suppose to be a simple spell.
Dawn: What happened Casey?
(Door opens downstairs)
Xander: Dawn.
Dawn: Oh no, Xanders home early.
Casey: We have to hide her.
Dawn: And you, they don't know about you. Quick.
Xander: There you are Dawn.
Dawn: Xander i can explain everything. Well maybe not everything, but i can explain.
Xander: Hey Casey. Dawn your not suppose to be fooling around with magic. Willow sent me to come get you, we need you to help us find out more about the thing.
Dawn: Okay, I just have to clean up the magic stuff and i'll be down stairs soon.
Xander: Okay but don't be long, we need to get going.
(Xander leaves)
Dawn: He didn't see her.
Casey: You said in the spell that only we would be able to se her, and it must have worked?
Dawn: At least we don't have to hide her from anyone.
Casey: That's true. But what do you suppose we do if she leaves?
Dawn: Don't even joke about that. It would be a disaster.
Casey: Well then you might want to think of something, because while we were talking she left.
Dawn: What?! Oh my god. I'll go tell Xander that i'm going to your house.
Casey: No! it won't work my mom and dad are out of town, and xander needs your help
Dawn: True.
Casey: Yeah.
Dawn: Wait a minute. You can see her.
Casey: Yeah. So can you, what's your point?
Dawn: my point is, that i can go with Xander and you can look for her that way nobody suspects anything.
Casey: Good plan.
Xander: ((Dawn come on))
Dawn: ((Okay)).
Then Dawn and Casey went downstairs and Dawn and Xander left for Gile's house while Casey went to look for the missing girl they conjured.

(Graveyard)

Buffy is patrolling for anything that remotely resembled the slimy demon Willow and Xander told her about.
Buffy: What are you doing here?
Angel: I thought you might want a heads up on the demon your trying to find.
Buffy: Well all i know is that it's-.
Angel: Big and slimy.
Buffy: Yeah. But so far I've got nothing.
Angel: Look out! Buffy.
Buffy fights with the vampire that just arrived, it was the same old, kill the slayer to gain power thing. But she kicked him into a tombstone with a cross on it, and dusted him.
Buffy: God i wish that i could have just one demon free day.....No efents.....I mean.....
Angel: I know, you don't have to explain. Sometimes i wish i could have a few of those days myself. I think from time to time we all do though.
Buffy: Tell me about it.
Angel: So anyway, the demon is called a chemical demon, he's attracted to anywhere there are chemicals, and he chooses his victim when he attacks first, before he actually takes them.
Buffy: Which means I have a chemistry class to talk to.
Angel: Yeah.
Buffy: I have to get home.
Angel: I'll see what else I can find out.

(At Gile's)

The phone rings.

Dawn: You know, when i said i wanted to help you with the demon. Research wasn't exactly what I had in mind.
Willow: You'll get use to it, Dawnie, trust me.
Xander: All part of the job profile.
Giles: Anything yet?
Dawn: Nope.
Willow: Me either, but I'm sure I'll find something.
(Phone ringes)
Xander: Hey Buff, did you find anything yet?
(Buffy on the other end): Yah. Angel told me it's called a chemical demon, which means that, it's attracted to chemicals.
Xander: Okay. Yah Dawn's here doing research with us, she's fine.
(Buffy on the other end): Good make sure she stays there until this thing is killed. He may be after the chemistry students?.
Xander: Okay. Bye
Willow: Did she find anything?
Xander: Yeah. Giles how much do you know about a chemical demon?
Giles: Not much really, why?
Xander: That's what we're dealing with.
Giles: All i know is that it's lured to chemicals, It can't survive without it, and it checks out it's victim before it attacks him or her.
Willow: Which mean it might be after Dawn.
Xander: Yah. Buffy wants her to stay here so she'll be safe.

[dustfairy]

Dawn: But Casey and I have a major project to work on. I have to go to her house.
Xander: No way. Right now you stay here with Giles and do more research.
Dawn: But I've been doing magic, I can make it-disappear into oblivion or something?, come on you have to take me with you, I don't want to be looking through dusty old books all night (turns to Giles) No efents.
Giles: None taken.
Willow: I've got it covered. Xander I'll meet you at the school, I have to stop by the magic shop.
Xander: What do you mean you have it covered?
Willow: Xander. Not now, just trust me.
Xander: Okay.
(they say good bye and then leave).
Giles: So what do you say we start looking through the dusty books again?
(Dawn just looks at him then back at the book she had in front of her with torn and discolored pages).
Dawn: Buffy so owes me.
Giles: What was that?
Dawn: Nothing. You know, I think maybe I might go get some air?

What season is this set in? It had dawn and angel, and giles' house, and he left home in bargaining.

srry I forgot to mention that it's set in the 5th season when giles is still around.
Angel came back from L.A because of the chemical demon because he's tracking it as well, and followed it.

I can't say anymore because I don't want to give away too much.
