My fave season 1 episode is Prophecy Girl because it is the final episode of the season and i think Buffy looks rly pretty in that dress!  |

I would definately say that Prophecy Girl was the best episode from season 1. The story and everything was amazing and Sarah did look gorgeous.
Angel is another amazing episode from that season.

This is a hard one because I think the opening two episodes, Angel and Prophecy Girl were all fantastic episodes. However, I ended up choosing Prophecy Girl because "We saved the world, I say we party" is one of the best lines ever.

I also chose Prophecy Girl. It was a pretty good episode. I love that line too. Angel comes in a close second though.

Yeh, i didnt like 'The Pack' that much either and i thought it was nasty when they ate the school's mascot (the pig)!  |

Nearly all of the S1 eps were good, but Prophecy Girl was the best of the bunch - a highly emotional yet understated episode that dealt both with the crucial 'expiry date' issue of being a Slayer, as well as showing true character development for Buffy, Giles and Willow. Mix in the right amount of humour and great performances all around, and you have a truly classic episode.
Very few S1 episodes were weak, so picking a least favourite is a little difficult. At a stretch, I'd probably pick 'I, Robot... You, Jane', as the Moloch robot was overly goofy and a little unbelievable. Still it did have lots of good stuff, so it's hard to dislike too much.
