The two opening episodes (Welcome to the Hellmouth and The Harvest) were really great. It brought you into Buffy's life immediately and kept you there. Loved meeting Angel when he was just the cute stranger. Too bad about Jesse.
This season, for me, had ups and downs. The main episodes which moved the plot were the two mentioned above, Angel and Prophecy Girl. Usually when I watch this season, I only watch these episodes.

I really liked the two part series opener. I thought it was a good introduction to Buffy, the Scoobies and the Master.

i liked the puppet show. Sid was a very interesting character. I read a buffy book called Chaos bleed where he came back in the book it was nice 2 c him again. This eppy was full of surprises.

How can they bring him back? When he killed the demon he himself died, its like he died in order to save others... bringing him back would ruin that.

I cant really remember much of the game as i havent played it for a while but i think they were in a parallel universe where he was still alive and at one stage you controlled him which was pretty hard lol

I loved 'The Witch' too! I found it better than Prophecy Girl, because the concept of witchcraft is first introduced to us...

I agree. And the whole deal with switching places with the mother and the daughter was really cool. I didn't like Prophecy Girl at all. The ending with the music wasn't very catchy. All though i did like the fruit punch comment Buffy made lol.

I agree that Witch is a very good and well-plotted episode (love the twists), but why don't you like Prophecy Girl? I've always thought it to be one of the most important episodes of the show; the first to truly bring up the negatives of being the Slayer; one of the most emotional episodes (while still having some great humour) and one full of character development for just about every individual - all of which makes sense, and is moving without being melodramatic. The second half isn't as strong as the first, but it's easily one of the best scripted and acted eps of the show. I figure there's more to your dislike of it than just the parts near the end?

Okay, it was an alright episode. I just don't think it was one of the best. I don't really know why i didn't care for it. I did like the fact that buffy died from a natural cause (drowning) and, Xander saved her in the end. I understand your views on Prophecy Girl though. I didn't realize until now how important that episode was. I just think that out of all the season finales, Prophecy Girl was the least interesting to me. And i actually found out about buffy in season 6. So i didn't see season 1 until after i saw season 6 and 7. That may have something to do with me not being interested in season 1's finale.
