Anya walked up to buffy's house, she needed to know more about belle and the vampire gang, and she didn't know where else to turn. She knocked on the front door.
"Hello, anyone home? Like maybe the slayer?"

After having checked out the vampire crypt and the Bronze to no effect, Buffy headed back home, slightly disappointed that she hadn't been able to kill anything that night. Not to mention that Xander had seemed to be rather 'distracted' by a certain returned nerd.
Getting closer, she saw a figure at the door, quickly recognising Anya.
Maybe something will happen tonight after all, she thought.
"Hey, Anya. What's going on?"

"Uh, its complicated. Can I come in? Great!" Anya went inside without waiting for an invite.
"The thing is, I was in the bronze earlier, and I met this girl, who told me her family was killed by a vampire. So I'm thinking, vampires, death, mayhem, this is where the slayer comes in."
Anya decided not to mention the fact that belle was herself a vampire. All I gotta do is get buffy to slay this vamp guy for me, and that wish is mine.

Buffy entered her home after Anya and listened to her news.
"Well, the vamp action would be mine..." she said, pausing for a moment "I mean, killing them would be mine. So, uh, did this girl say anything about what or where the vamps were? I did a sweep with Xander through the graveyard earlier, but we didn't find anything. And unfortunately for Sunnydale, vamp attacks hardly of the rare."

"She didn't say. I guess he could be anywhere by now. I did get a look at him though. He was kinda tall, with brown hair, but that all I could tell before he went off into the crowd. I would have followed him myself except, why risk my own life when I could get someone else to risk their... I mean, when I can get an expert demon fighter on the case. So, whadya say? Ready to kill things?"

And maybe I'll be able to get some slaying in after all.

"We can only hope he's already killed and ate a bunch of humans. You know, so he'll be all sleepy from the big meal and won't put up much of a fight."

"Oh, is she okay?" Buffy asked, concerned. "Are you going to be alright here alone for a while? It's just that we have some new nasty vamp in town, which I need to check out solo, or at least solo-ish," she added, looking at Anya. "And since we haven't been able to do any training yet, I'd rather you stay safe here for tonight. That okay?"
